Rob Fluckiger celebrates a decade with the M&M Group
An award-winning waste management firm committed to creating a greener future for Oxfordshire is marking a major milestone for its Group Managing Director.
Rob Fluckiger is celebrating 10 years with The M&M Group and championing its vision to deliver environmentally sustainable solutions in waste management, recycling, demolition, asbestos removal and land remediation.
He joined M&M Waste Solutions at Managing Director in 2015, before becoming Group Managing Director in 2021.
The group comprises demolition specialists Maylarch, waste management experts M&M Waste Solutions and M&M Zero – the UK’s first man and van waste collection service operated via electric vehicles.
Annual revenue across the group has increased by £10million under Rob’s leadership, with Maylarch successfully acquired into the group in 2018 before M&M Zero’s launch three years later.
Rob said: “I am immensely proud of what we have achieved in the last decade.
“We have invested significantly in our infrastructure, acquisition, low-carbon technology and our team to develop a strong, sustainable, business model to ensure long-term growth while reducing the impact on our environment.

“We’re fortunate to have a fantastic team of hard-working colleagues who have all bought into our core values and vision to create a healthier, safer, and more sustainable environment.
“It has been a genuine privilege to lead the team in the last decade, here’s to many more years to come.”
M&M Waste Solutions’ significant commercial growth and dedication to sustainability has been recognised with a series of award wins.
Recent awards include the Natwest Large Business Award 2023 at the prestigious Oxfordshire Business Awards. Plus, the Cosy Homes Oxfordshire’s Clean and Green Award at the JACK FM Brick Awards 2022, where Rob was also presented with the Best Boss Award.
Other highlights during Rob’s tenure to date include the ribbon-cutting on M&M Waste Solutions’ second site, The Spinney Recycling Centre in Worminghall, Buckinghamshire, and leading the launch of its £5m processing plant in Cassington near Eynsham, Oxfordshire.
The group has also achieved BSI ISCO certifications in health and safety, environment and quality – underscoring its commitment to addressing environmental challenges Oxfordshire communities continually face.
The business has secured local authority contracts, to help them meet key sustainability goals.
Rob added: “Every role within The M&M Group makes a positive contribution to delivering a more sustainable future and we consistently invest in our people.
“We take huge pride in our ability to enhance the environment, our communities and prospects of future generations through our market leading environmental services.
“I’m proud that we are the supplier of choice for local authorities and many major companies across our operating area.
“We are more than just a service provider and instead act as a trusted partner of our clients so we can drive real lasting sustainable change in the waste management and demolition space and set new standards for our industry.”
B4’s CEO, Richard Rosser, added. “Congratulations Rob from all of us at B4 and the wider B4 community. Here’s to the next 10 years.”
