Whitley Stimpson Invests in the Best for Professional Development
Leading accountancy firm Whitley Stimpson is continuing its investment in young talent by welcoming 16 new recruits to join their offices in Banbury, Bicester, High Wycombe and Witney.
Human resources manager Tracy Williams said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the 16 new starters to the business, where they will bring real benefits for our clients and the teams they will work within.
“We have a strong history of supporting professional development, evident from the firm’s ability to attract and retain the best personnel. We strive to support all our staff in achieving their full potential, and the health and wellbeing of our employees is top priority.”
Whitley Stimpson has been shortlisted for two awards relating to their investment in people this year already. The firm was placed in the Top 10 of the British Accountancy Awards 2019 for Best Employer, and Top 5 for the Accounting Excellence 2019 Investors in People award.
Whitley Stimpson has an excellent staff retention rate, and this year will see nine employees with over 25 years’ service with the company. This includes two staff members with 45 years of service at the Banbury and Bicester offices.
Other more local awards success this year includes one of our trainees achieving 1st in Corporate Reporting for the Thames Valley area, and 5th in the Thames Valley Advanced Stage Order of Merit 2018, putting Whitley Stimpson on the map with the likes of some of the bigger accountancy firms across the country.
