Whitley Stimpson shortlisted for another top award
Whitley Stimpson, one of the largest independent accountancy practice and business advisers in the area, has been shortlisted for a major award, following its success in being named as one of the top ten employers last year.
The company, which has offices in Banbury, Bicester, Witney and High Wycombe, has been shortlisted for the best large practice in the AccountingWEB Practice Excellence Awards 2017.
Managing director Jonathan Walton said: “We are delighted to be shortlisted for this award by the largest online community for accounting professionals.
“Although we are a large practice we pride ourselves on our personal touch. Our approach is to provide a director–led service to help our clients stay ahead of their field. We give them positive support across many areas of specialism and as a result our company continues to increase its profitability.”
Whitley Stimpson has seen spectacular growth in the last four years through a series of mergers, which have turned the company into being one of the leading practices in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
The company has grown from employing 61 people four years ago to 105 this year and has doubled its turnover and profit during this period.
Whitley Stimpson is now one of the region’s leading providers of audit accounting and financial advice to the education sector. In addition, it has also developed a key specialty in the provision of service charge accounting, acting for over 200 property management companies.
Jonathan Walton added: “We take great pride in the continuous development and training of our staff and work in close partnership with our clients.”
