Just Launched: Diploma in Workplace Data Protection with CPD Accredited Modules

2020 was a very challenging year for anyone responsible for HR, whether this was implementing the job retention scheme (furlough), supporting redundancy decisions, ensuring all remote working staff didn’t feel overwhelmed and isolated, introducing new HR software systems, or recruiting during the pandemic using video technology. It was during the first national lockdown that Sally White of SYLO | Beyond HR and Kellie Peters of Databasix UK identified the need to design a programme of training that incorporated the employee life cycle and data protection law.

Born from this discussion was the ‘Diploma in Workplace Data Protection’ which draws upon the combined areas expertise and experience of Databasix UK and SYLO | Beyond HR.

This Diploma in Workplace Data Protection consists of five comprehensive CPD accredited modules covering the lifecycle of employment from a data protection and compliance perspective and will address a wide range of data protection issues and must-haves that organisations need to stay on top of to meet legislative requirements.

The Modules (which are delivered online):
• Managing your Employee Data Protection
• Managing Recruitment & Selection
• Managing the Remote Employee
• Managing Employee Individual Rights
• Managing Employee Exit

The first Module will be delivered on 26th January 2021 with the final module concluded in May 2021.
