Events Re-imagined for the Contemporary World with Wendy Ball of Ashmolean Museum
One of the only constants in the Events sector is that it is always evolving. Exploring and demonstrating new and effective ways for people to connect with one another, share insights and engage in memorable ways is a major driver for all event curators.
Whilst it is still too early to fully appreciate the economic and social impact the global coronavirus pandemic will have on the sector, which sustains over 570,000 full-time equivalent jobs in the UK, mostly in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), industry experts assert that people will still want to connect with other people and it continues to be the role of event professionals to facilitate these interactions.
We will explore event audience and visitor confidence and desires in the current climate, consider how we need to adapt and conclude by taking a look at how we will embrace new events possibilities and opportunities.
