Supporting young people’s mental wealth
On this episode of Let’s Talk Mental Health with Mel Noton, we’re joined by Jodie Lloyd-Jones from Oxfordshire Youth to discuss their work in the local community and the issues young people face in today’s workplace.
Oxfordshire Youth is a boundary-breaking youth development charity in Oxfordshire that works with young people aged 8-25. OY has three strands of work: Mental Health and Wellbeing, Building Skills for Life, and Sector Support – working with 150+ grassroots youth organisations to collectively provide support for over 26,000 young people in Oxfordshire.
The Mental Health Ambassadors Programme is part of the Mental Wealth Academy Partnership. Devon is one of the young people aged 18-24 who has joined a year long development programme that supports young people to utilise their lived experience of mental health challenges to support other young people with their mental health journey.
