B4 Presents: Really Connect at The Story Museum
The Really Connect events were born out of the hugely popular Business Development Ecosystems run by the brilliant Caroline O’Connor of Fourth Born. Members wanted an event where they could spend time with other Members in a structured format and that’s what we’ve come up with….oh, and it’s in a great setting for the launch with more dates to be announced for other great venues!
What better place to share your story with another Member than The Story Museum? Each Member will spend 15 minutes finding out all about another Member and you can share your story too! This way we not only get to know each other as people better but we’re building more potential advocates of our businesses at the same time!
We’ll also hear more about this fascinating new B4 Member in the heart of Oxford!
About The Story Museum
The Story Museum is a most unusual museum in the heart of Oxford celebrating the power of stories to teach and delight. Our gallery and activity spaces encourage visitors of all ages to lose themselves in their imagination. Highlights include a Whispering Wood, an Enchanted Library and Small Worlds, a dedicated space for younger children. With the Woodshed, a 100-seat theatre, the Magic Common Room, a learning studio inspired by Hogwarts, and the Treasure Chamber, a temporary exhibition space, the Museum also offers a full programme of events including family storytelling shows, clubs, courses, workshops and schools sessions. Please visit our website for more information and details of museum/shop/café opening hours.
Caroline Jones, Museum Director and CEO:
Caroline Jones has worked with leading cultural organisations for 20 years, starting in administration and quickly finding her way to fundraising and development with roles at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, the Roundhouse, the Young Vic and the Royal Shakespeare Company; the latter two as Development Director during major capital development projects and related campaigns. Whilst working as a consultant with creative and heritage clients (including Bristol Old Vic, Northern Stage and 14-18 Now) Caroline discovered The Story Museum in 2013 and started working with them on a pro-bono basis. It was then a quick and thrilling slide into the creative life and ambitions of the Museum, which eventually landed her in the role of Co-Director & CEO in 2017. It’s a bonus that her two young children are willing action research subjects in the question of how best to inspire imaginations and engage them in the stuff that really matters
As it’s a new event this first Really Connect is limited to 20 so please book to avoid disappointment. B4 Members only.
This event is limited to 20 guests only.
