Matt will provide practical tips and tactics to use to help you develop your personal brand, both internally to support career growth and externally to build a reputation as a M&BD leader. Matt will talk through some live examples of where having a strong personal brand can support the corporate brand and how marketing and BD professionals can use this to elevate their profile and increase revenue for their business. We will focus on the following six key areas and you will take away practical actions from each:

About Matt Skipper
Matt Skipper is Head of Business Development at Mills & Reeve LLP and helps lawyers think differently when approaching the market or targeting new clients. He is responsible for how the firm attracts new clients and has significant experience developing relationships and networks in unfamiliar and new markets for the firm.
Matt and his team deliver the firms sales enablement programme and he contributes to thought leadership and hosts training on the different elements of this topic positioning Mills & Reeve as forward-thinking in an ever evolving legal landscape. His aim is to build confidence in those at the start of their career and others looking to step up to the next level by supporting a humanised approach to BD.
