March B4 Members Lunch with special guest Peter Bennett-Jones CBE DL

Join B4 Members for a relaxed lunch at the wonderful Brasserie Blanc. There’s no formal structure, just come along to connect with B4 Members whilst enjoying a fabulous three course meal with drinks included.

Our special guest for the MARCH B4 Members Lunch at Brasserie Blanc will be our new Raise Patron.

In December at Keble College, Peter Bennett-Jones, representing the Lord-Lieutenant as one of her Deputy Lieutenants, officially endorsed Raise’24, B4’s brilliant fundraising initiative. As an established television and film producer and agent, we are delighted to announce that Peter has agreed to become our Patron and will be joining us as our guest for lunch.

Peter founded the Tiger Television Group and artist agency PBJ Management in 1988 after a decade of theatre production. The Tiger Group produced over 500 titles and won scores of domestic and international awards for its multi-genre output, from Mr Bean to Billy Elliot.

PBJ Management represents the cream of UK comedic creative talent. Sister company KBJ Management represents leading television presenters and journalists. He is also Chairman of independent TV producers Burning Bright Productions.

Peter was an original Trustee and subsequently Chair of Comic Relief and Sport Relief (1998- 2013); Chair of Save the Children UK; a director of the Millennium Promise (UK); Governor of Rugby School; Board member of the Liverpool Playhouse/Everyman; RADA; the Oxford Playhouse and the Royal National Theatre, where he chaired the Production Board. He is a Trustee of mental health Foundation The Prudence Trust.

Peter is a Fellow of the Royal Television Society, and was granted its Lifetime Achievement Award alongside a BAFTA Special Award. He was awarded a CBE for services to the Entertainment Industry and to Charity in the 2014 New Years Honours. He is a Deputy Lieutenant in Oxfordshire.

On agreeing to become Patron of Raise, Peter commented. “I thought the event in December at Keble College was fantastic. There was clearly a lot of support from the business community for Raise. It’s a great idea to support multiple charities with one big event and there are obviously lots of parallels with Comic and Sport Relief. If I can help Richard and the team develop Raise then I have no doubt it will continue to grow. I am delighted to be announced as Patron.”

Founder of Raise and CEO of B4, Richard Rosser, added. “This is brilliant for Raise. We were fortunate to have Peter at the event at Keble which I think demonstrated to him there is something special to develop here with Raise. To have Peter as our Patron is a huge boost and one which will hopefully elevate the profile of Raise to another level.”
