About Keble College
The original Keble College site was founded in the 1870s to commemorate John Keble, a leader of the ‘Oxford Movement’, and is one of Oxford’s architectural landmarks. Its original brick Victorian building, described as “one of the finest of its date in England”, has been complemented and supplemented by award-winning contemporary developments. The famous Holman-Hunt painting, The Light of the World, can be viewed in the Keble Chapel, which is open daily to all.
The College is spread over two sites, a five-minute walk apart; Keble on Parks Road and The H B Allen Centre. The original Parks Road site was opened in 1870 and consists of four main Quads, centred around the historic Dining Hall with its wood panelling and high ceilings evoking images of Harry Potter and the Great Hall at Hogwarts School. The H B Allen Centre has a far more modern design – the centre opened in 2019 and offers state of the art facilities, including a Harvard-style lecture theatre, and the contemporary Robin Geffen Café, ideal for more relaxed meal or drinks breaks.
Parking: No parking available on-site. Parking available in some of the surrounding streets and St Giles. Please read parking signage before leaving your car to avoid parking fines.

That total has now soared to £37,500 thanks to the generosity of well over 500 donors and the hard work of 33 fundraisers.
