Alchera Technologies announces major expansion following 350% sales revenue boost
Alchera Technologies, the leading technology start up providing AI-enabled software to power data-driven mobility infrastructure today announces a 350 per cent increase in sales revenue, after securing key strategic customers. Predicted figures also suggest sales revenue figures will reach £10m by 2022, and £100m by 2025.
As society begins to reopen since the advent of Covid-19 and impacts of the vaccine allow people to start to move more freely, Alchera aims to tackle the transport infrastructure and mobility data market by expanding operations and investing more into its services and teams. This industry is reportedly worth up to $20bn, and driven by transport hubs, commercial estates, road networks, enterprise mobility data users and infrastructure creditors, all of whom are looking for ways to better use data to respond to more dynamic cities.
Alchera’s cloud-based AI software platform, Alpha – which fuses together existing sensor networks (including CCTV, IoT, mobile, connected car, etc.) – provides the most comprehensive and reliable vehicle and pedestrian movement intelligence software on the market.
Recent high-profile customers won by Alchera include, Highways England, Connect Plus Services, Oxfordshire County Council and East West Rail. Pipeline opportunities for 2021 include partnerships with major airport operators and telecommunications companies.
Anna Jordan, Head of Operations and Co-Founder of Alchera Technologies, comments:
“As the Covid-19 recovery begins and lockdown restrictions lift, we expect to see a huge change in activity across cities, towns and transport networks, something which transport operators and local authorities need to be properly prepared to manage. From airports and entertainment venues to supermarket logistics, these huge shifts in behaviour will require organisations to have the right systems in place to support movement and help society transition to a new and evolving “normal”, smoothly.
“Key to this effort must be a data-centric approach, with transit agencies and authorities having the capability to interpret and model data from multiple sources, allowing dynamic and accurate decision-making in real-time to respond to the ever evolving ways in which people and goods want to travel.”
