Arlington expands Oxford Business Park ownership with Spires House acquisition
Arlington has continued to consolidate its ownership at Oxford Business Park by acquiring Spires House, a 49,421 sq ft multi-let office building from Harbert European Real Estate.
Also known as Building 5700, the property is 76% let to Jazz Pharmaceuticals and Veeva Systems UK and benefits from 231 car parking spaces. The 11,767 sq ft refurbished ground floor offices are currently available to rent.
Paul McSweeney, Asset Management Director at Arlington comments, “We are delighted to continue our consolidation strategy at our core parks with this acquisition, particularly given our growing focus on the life sciences and innovation sector. With our local knowledge, experience, and our approach to customer service, we believe we will be well placed to add value to Spires House on the back of the significant investment we have made in creating best in class amenities exclusively for our customers at Oxford Business Park.”
Oxford Business Park is the city’s premier innovation location and the only commercial centre of scale within the ring road.
Cushman & Wakefield advised Arlington. ACRE Capital Real Estate advised Harbert.
