Attracting water industry professionals to Howbery Park
Innovyze, the leading supplier of data analytics software for water infrastructure, is expanding the team of water professionals working at its Howbery Park-based Head Office.
With over 3,000 customers in more than 50 countries, Innovyze is a global business. The company has several US offices including California, Colorado and Oregon, plus offices in Australia and numerous channel partners around the world.
Innovyze’s software provides a comprehensive set of tools used by water professionals to solve water industry challenges from strategies to reduce flood risk, to asset management, to reducing leaks, to drainage design.
Clare Bull, Innovyze’s Vice President of People & Culture, said: “Over the last eighteen months, we have increased our personnel at Howbery Park by a third – this has been across the whole business including graduates and water professionals. We encourage a healthy work-life balance, so the park’s campus feel and the amenities, such as the gym and social club, are a real plus.
“Sharing the park with organisations like HR Wallingford and the Environment Agency puts us inside a ‘centre of excellence’ for the water industry. It’s ideal to attract employees, and customers appreciate the environment when they visit us. This is important as the feedback we receive from customers directly influences the ongoing development of our solutions.”
Donna Bowles, Howbery Park Estates Manager, added: “Innovyze began at Howbery Business Park, and is part of a developing water science cluster. In addition to Innovyze, the park’s other water science-related occupiers include the Environment Agency, HR Wallingford and HPi Verification Services. The Centre for Ecology & Hydrology is also close by.”
