B4’s PLATINUM 50th Celebration Breakfast at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons
B4, the premier business network in Oxfordshire, hosted a milestone event today – the PLATINUM 50th Celebration Breakfast at the iconic Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons. It was the culmination of a year of significant growth of its Platinum Membership, reaching an impressive half-century.
Over the past year, B4 has welcomed respected local organisations including Boostworks, SMS Environmental, Intertronics, Begbroke Science Park, Nicholsons, Kingerlee and Breckon & Breckon into its exclusive Platinum membership. These additions join established Platinum Members Blenheim, Unipart, Owen Mumford, Wellers, and Mills & Reeve, making the Platinum Membership a vibrant and influential community within Oxfordshire.
The celebration took place in the elegant La Belle Epoque, generously hosted by Belmond Le Manoir. What made this event particularly noteworthy is the recognition of Le Manoir as the 50th Platinum Member, solidifying its place in the B4 family. Members at the breakfast were not only treated to a delightful culinary experience but also the opportunity to immerse themselves in the exquisite ambiance of one of Oxfordshire’s jewels.
Limited to an intimate gathering of 50 attendees, the event was an exclusive affair, with each Platinum Member entitled to a single ticket. It was not just a celebration, but a chance for members to connect, network, and forge valuable relationships in a convivial setting.
Jeanette Williams, Sales and Events Manager at Le Manoir, took center stage to share insights into the enchanting world of Le Manoir. Attendees had the privilege of hearing firsthand about the history, vision, and the culinary excellence that has earned Le Manoir two Michelin stars since its opening in 1984. Jeanette commented, “We’re delighted to be part of B4 PLATINUM and it’s an absolute pleasure to be hosting this celebratory breakfast. We’re looking forward to meeting more of the B4 PLATINUM community and welcoming them to La Belle Epoque.”
For those unfamiliar with Le Manoir, it stands as a testament to the culinary genius of Raymond Blanc OBE. The manor house hotel, nestled in an idyllic setting surrounded by lawns, flower borders, and orchards, has not only received acclaim for its picturesque beauty but has also maintained two Michelin stars since its inaugural year. Behind the scenes, the gardens provide an abundance of organic produce, ensuring that Le Manoir’s restaurant remains at the forefront of culinary innovation.
B4’s CEO, Richard Rosser, added, “This is a very special event to mark a very special milestone for B4. It’s appropriate that an institution such as Le Manoir are our 50thPlatinum Member and for Jeanette and the team to host the Platinum community makes it an even more special occasion.”
Members also heard from Boostworks CEO, Andy Caldicott, who explained more about the February launch of B4 HUB, a joint initiative between Boostworks and B4 which will give Members access to the Boostworks employee benefits and rewards platform, further enhancing the growing suite of benefits that Members can enjoy. Andy commented, “We’re really looking forward to launching the app for the community. It underlines our commitment to the community and what an amazing venue to make the announcement!”
Networking at Le Manoir is an experience in itself, with like-minded professionals sharing insights and establishing connections amidst the postcard-perfect surroundings.
