Blenheim Palace announce February half term activities and free pizza for kids

The perfect day-out for families, Blenheim Palace has announced a jam-packed programme of events and activities for all who want to enjoy the outdoors and focus on fun and wellbeing during February half-term next month.

Families can enjoy a fun-filled day across the Palace, Park and Gardens starting by hopping aboard the miniature train to the Walled Garden to get lost in the Marlborough Maze.

Within the Walled Garden, families can visit the all-new Adventure Play area, filled with ziplines, slides, swings and tunnels. During half term, families that visit Adventure Play can expect complimentary dance sessions, pebble painting and animal-themed storytelling. Children can get stuck in with planting seeds in pots and decorating lolly sticks with their name.

What’s more, Kids Eat Free at the Walled Garden Pizzeria this half term, with a margherita pizza and a cup of squash – the perfect excuse to fill up on delicious, woodfired pizza. Whilst waiting for food in the Pizzeria, children can enter the woodland animal themed colouring competition, with a fantastic prize of an Adventure Play family pass and some goodies from Blenheim Palace shop.

Opening times for Adventure Play have been adjusted for the winter season. The outdoor experience located within the historic Walled Garden will be open for seven days a week during February Half Term (10th – 18th February 2024). However, excluding the school holiday, until 1st March 2024, the outdoor attraction will only be open from Fridays to Sundays with time slots at 10:15am and 12:15pm.

During a day out at Britain’s Greatest Palace, families can get outdoors and explore the 2,000 acres ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland. During a winter walk get bird-spotting using Blenheim Bird Bingo sheets that can be downloaded from the half term page on the Blenheim Palace website to get a full house of feathered friends. Families can also follow the Woodland Trail to help Delilah the cow find all of her animal friends and meet some of the friendly Blenheim sheep in their pop-up pen to learn all about how they are cared for on the Estate.

Rest assured that when visitors enjoy a trip, tickets are treated as charitable donations, and as a thank-you, a Palace, Park and Gardens ticket is converted into Annual Passes at no extra cost. This means you can enjoy Blenheim Palace for a whole year.
