Business Development Managers Share Expertise
Earlier this year the wonderful Caroline O’Connor facilitated our first BDM’s roundtable which generated invaluable shared knowledge, connections & plenty of content for future discussion.
B4’s growing ecosystems provide members with excellent support and insight into each other’s businesses and how they are coping with challenges. Business development managers recently met at B4’s offices to share their expertise and experience.
Key Takeaways from BDM’s
- nurturing existing clients & making them ‘raving fans’
- using customer feedback to improve your service
- taking the time to say ‘thank you’ to your clients for their business
- fine tuning how companies might perceive your organisation to make you a more attractive supplier
Facilitating the session, Caroline O’Connor of Fourth Born commented, “I love a great discussion about BDM strategies and tactic’s. It was lovely to meet Nick Breakspear of Royal Cars and Salim Benadel of Storm Internet plus catch up with Alex Dean of Be More Effective, Alex Sayers of XIST2 and B4’s Richard Rosser and Brooke Williams. There was lots of positive discussion about client retention and growth opportunities. I enjoy these sessions as they never fail to unearth little gems of knowledge. Everyone managed to take away something to consider for their business. Thank you everyone for your open and honest contributions.”
Guest Feedback on the Session
Recruitment Director Alex Dean commented “The roundtable hosted by Caroline O’Connor and B4 provided a great sounding board to share ideas on BD, everyone was willing to be open and forthcoming with their experiences which allowed for an honest, frank and following conversation. As a guest attending my first event it was a great first insight into the value B4 can add and the knowledge members can share with each other. I’m looking forward to the next one.” Alex Dean, Be More Effective
“Another great meeting from B4. It was good to meet some new faces and catch up with some familiar ones. Caroline was a fantastic host and Richard and the B4 team were as hospitable as ever, putting on a very informative and professional but casual discussion. It’s always good to hear from likeminded professionals and this did not disappoint. Looking forward to the next one’. Nick Breakspear, Royal Cars
“It was great to get a like-minded group together and talk through the challenges of the day, the format was great and the event space was spot on (as usual). Thanks to the B4 team for putting on another great event.” Alex Sayers, XIST2
