Nestled in the stunning North Cambridgeshire countryside sits Ely City Golf Club. This much lauded trophy winning club has long retained a reputation as a sought-after golf club and an exceptional sporting facility, attracting keen players from around the region for many years.
The Club management committee sensibly decided to use the recently enforced lockdown period to carry out some modernisation and commissioned COEL to give the bar and recreational area a full re-design and fit out. They wanted to create a relaxing area for both players to come after playing a few rounds of golf and for non-players to be able to relax and socialise over a few drinks and enjoy delicious food. The Club is also renowned as an outstanding conference facility, and this sleek, updated social area helps support any business events being hosted, providing an alternative area to engage and entertain delegates.
The design and fit out of the bar and recreational area is stylish, elegant and inviting; Whether you have had a working day as a conference delegate or a sporting day on the golf range, this newly refurbished space offers all the elements of comfort required to restore and replenish.
“Ely City Golf Club was really pleased with the work that the COEL team did on our bar and entrance area. At times they had difficult constraints to work with but, they always found a solution which enabled us to open up the much-awaited stunning new bar area and welcome back our eager members to enjoy the fantastic new recreational facilities and relax after a game of golf.” – Anthony Roberts, Club Manager at Ely City Golf Club.
