The Howbery Park gym is the third to be added to the Exercise Lounge’s portfolio. It has been running its Didcot gym for 16 years, and recently added Banbury. At Howbery, the team replaces Lifestyles, which left the park due to personal circumstances.
“We were keen to have a gym in Wallingford, so that our members can switch between there and Didcot, for example for people living in one place and working in the other,” said Nick Goodman, owner of The Exercise Lounge. “We decided on Howbery Park, having seen by chance that it was available. I hadn’t been on the park before, but it’s a hidden gem. I like the atmosphere, and it has a welcoming feel.
“We aim to keep our prices affordable, and try to make contracts flexible and bespoke. As we are keen to support people reaching goals, we are a membership only gym, offering a personal service.”
Howbery Business Park Estates Manager Donna Bowles said: “We are really pleased to welcome the Exercise Lounge to the park. Having a gym on the park helps us with one of our goals to promote wellbeing here. We are especially glad to hear the team is keen to become involved with our local community and are looking forward to seeing how we can collaborate.”
