We will support 11 ladies from the charity Refugee Resource to help them start a food business. We have just had our first session and so many brilliant ideas from frozen food, to samosa street food , a charity event and hibiscus juice bar.
Souad said “Its my dream to set up small shop with take away dishes selling soups and biscuits”.
We cant wait to make that dream come true!
This is a 2 year funded project and cant wait to support them. We have some skilled ladies already running their business to support them and up first is the very talented Daisy Pratt talking about her cake business at Maymessy in June. www.veryvanilla.co.uk/

Nobody likes a ‘know it all’ and let’s face it, there’s no such thing. At the other end of the scale, many of us don’t create enough time to take on board new ideas, innovation and creativity in whatever format. How many times have you been recommended to read a book, get sent the link, go on Amazon, maybe even buy it but it just sits on your bookshelf? Come to think of it, as an aside, just think about that for a second….I wonder what the actual percentage of books purchased are actually read? Frightening thought!
