Meyers Estate Agents Grows Sales & Support Team
Meyers, the award-winning home-based estate agency franchise, has added to its sales, support and lettings team for the benefit of its growing number of franchisees across the UK. Leon Firth now joins as franchise sales manager and Charlie Sharp as Meyers’ hub headquarters’ branch manager. These additions to the team follow the recruitment of Jules Arscott as property manager earlier this year to extend the lettings team, and Ella McGrady as office manager.
Mark Meyer CEO Meyers Estate Agents explains: “Since we franchised our home-based agency model seven years ago, we have steadily expanded, taking on more franchisees and staff. Because agents mainly work from home, taking advantage of the latest digital marketing techniques and leveraging community connections, their overheads are low, and they have all become incredibly successful.
“The business model has proved particularly resilient in recent times with one of our agents selling 21 houses last month alone and another agreeing sales on just shy of £9 million worth of property since the start of 2021. We are now growing our infrastructure to increase the level of support we can provide to existing and new franchisees joining us and are pleased to welcome Leon, Charlie, Jules and Ella to the team.”
Charlie Sharp commented: “Moving out of London and joining Meyers represents a brand-new chapter for me. I’m excited to become part of this forward-thinking agency which shares my values about putting customers first. I am now responsible for the general running of the headquarters office hub in relation to compliance in everything we do, ensuring the team are well supported and trained and helping onboard new franchisees in the future.”
Charlie Sharp previously worked for central London agents for ten years including: Carter Jonas, Marsh & Parsons and Savills. Leon Firth has worked in the property agency sector since 2015 including six years as franchise relationship manager at hybrid agents; Agents Online. Jules Arscott brings her experience in social media marketing to her new role in the lettings department which includes management of maintenance and inspections, while Ella McGrady’s property experience makes her perfectly placed to manage the office.
Mark Meyer continues: “All our new recruits’ drive and experience will contribute to our continued UK expansion. We are currently looking for more franchisees who are experienced agents who would like to build a new and better sustainable business without the high overheads of a high street location.
“We are also keen to hear from individuals who are focused on putting customers and their local relationships at the heart of everything they do to align closely with Meyers high professional standards. Full training and low-cost franchise opportunities are available for the most suitable candidates who can demonstrate excellent communication and people skills and have strong local links within their communities.”
