Moorcrofts advises LPC Construction and Halo Hire on a restructure and partial exit
Moorcrofts LLP has advised the continuing shareholders of LPC Construction Limited (“LPC”) and Halo Hire Limited (“Halo”) on a restructuring and partial exit.
LPC has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry and specialise in civil engineering and cable installation projects for the private and public sectors. Founded in 1997 by Patsy Leneghan (Operations Director), LPC has grown into a respected name in the industry, and is now a preferred contractor to many businesses including UK Power networks and Scottish and Southern Energy and are a Lloyds National Electricity registered contractor.
Halo are specialists in heavy plant hire solutions to the construction, utilities and public work sectors. Solutions provided by Halo include excavators, breakers, lorries, cable installation plant and generation equipment. Founded in 2019, Halohas common shareholders to LPC but has been run as a separate business.
LPC’s Managing Director, Neil Coates, said:
“We have known Teri Hunter and Matt Jenkin for a long while and have worked with Moorcrofts on various legal matters which have cropped up over the years. We have always been delighted with the excellent service provided by Moorcrofts and we look forward to working with them again on projects in the future”.
Moorcrofts’ head of corporate and partner, Teri Hunter, led the process with support from Mohsin Shabbir (corporate associate), Matt Jenkin(employment partner) and Julia Ferguson (commercial property partner).
