A New Retreat in the Heart of the City

Leading local caterers Elegant Cuisine have reopened the Oxford Town Hall Café in the newly renovated space in the Town Hall.

The café has a range of beverages, sandwiches & baguettes, cakes and snacks all made fresh in-house on a daily basis incorporating the use of seasonal ingredients supplied by local farmers and producers available to have in or takeaway.

David Hunt, Oxford Town Hall’s Commercial Manager said;

About Oxford Town Hall

Oxford Town Hall is a Grade II* listed building that hosts over 2,000 meetings and events throughout the year, ranging from small meetings to weddings, conferences and even concerts. It is located in the heart of Oxford and is the home to the Museum of Oxford and the Town Hall Café. The Town Hall offers three large function rooms and ten meeting rooms, making it one of the largest venue capacities in the city centre.

Oxford Town Hall is owned and managed by Oxford City Council and is the seat of the council, hosting civic events and meetings throughout the year. Since it was first built in 1897, it has been used as a police station, a hospital during the First World War and a public library.
