Paul Holland steps up as Grant Thornton invests in South
LEADING business advisory firm Grant Thornton UK LLP has promoted Paul Holland to partner in its audit practice covering the Thames Valley and Southampton region.
Paul will have specific responsibilities for leading audit and assurance services, working with both large, complex businesses and mid-market clients with fast growth potential.
He has significant experience auditing a broad range of companies and also supports clients through providing assurance services around sustainability, environmental, social and governance and wider non-financial reporting; an area of increasing focus by businesses and their wider stakeholder groups.
Paul commented: “It’s a big milestone in my career and I’m hugely proud to be joining the Grant Thornton partnership team. We have seen unprecedented changes in the audit market over the last couple of years and it continues to be an important time for the profession. We have great people across Thames Valley and Southampton, delivering high quality audits to an exciting client base. I do feel we have a positive and rewarding culture within the firm, one where professionals are supported, empowered and can make a difference. I’m looking forward to being part of a leadership group focussed on our clients, our people and in creating value through delivering best-in-class services.”
Jim Rogers, practice leader for Grant Thornton in the region, said: “Paul is an outstanding professional who can draw on a valuable breadth of experience and who has a genuine passion for providing highest standards in audit. He is already making a significant contribution to what we are achieving as a business and it’s a pleasure to see him progress.”
