Real estate investment firm appoints Sholom Cohen to advance growth strategy
Real estate investment firm Colmore Capital has appointed Sholom Cohen to its growing team.
Sholom joins Colmore Capital as an Investment Associate, bringing with him seven years of asset management and transactional experience as a former Associate Director at Avison Young, involved with over 70 deals.
A qualified Chartered Surveyor, Sholom will primarily be responsible for the origination and analysis of new opportunities throughout the UK to strengthen Colmore Capital’s high-quality portfolio.
Colmore Capital is a commercial real estate investor that delivers risk-adjusted returns across a diverse portfolio via its tailored investment methodology.
Sholom said: “Whilst I was fortunate to spend seven great years working at Avison Young, I am looking forward to working in real estate private equity.
“Colmore Capital’s clear vision, cross-sector knowledge and analytical approach to investment was an incredibly attractive proposition. I’m excited to join such an acquisitive firm and look forward to growing our portfolio.”
David Corridan, Co-Founder at Colmore Capital said: “Sholom has an outstanding track record and combined with his ambition and keen understanding of the markets, he’s a perfect fit for the business.
“Part of Sholom’s role will be to focus on identifying new opportunities for us, helping us to ensure that we grow our portfolio in the right way and delivering a pipeline of desirable, well-located assets. The regional markets have demonstrated significant resilience over the last 18 months and there is a strong sense of returning confidence.”
The appointment of Sholom represents a key part of the company’s growth plan to bolster the current portfolio, with live assets including Quartz Point in Solihull, AMH55 in Aston, Swift 34 at Rugby, Wavendon Business Park near Milton Keynes, and Bedfont Lakes Business Park in West London.
