Strutt & Parker delivering Farm Business Reviews for AHDB

Strutt & Parker is pleased to announce that it will be working with AHDB to deliver its Farm Business Reviews (FBR) service, funded by Defra’s Future Farming Resilience Fund.

This free service offers farmers in England access to a combination of online tools, expert advice and peer support to help them prepare for the phasing out of the Basic Payments Scheme (BPS) – the biggest agricultural policy shift in a generation.

The service has been designed for beef, sheep, dairy, cereals and oilseeds producers – those sectors most affected by the removal of BPS income.

The AHDB Farm Business Review service runs until February 2022, so farmers and growers are advised to register now in order to benefit.

Participants will be invited to use an online self-assessment tool designed to help farmers see the impact of BPS reductions on their business and identify strengths and areas for development.

They will also qualify for a half day of consultancy and access to meetings with like-minded farmers that are planned for this winter.

The one-to one session with a consultant will be an opportunity for farmers to access impartial advice on the impact of BPS changes on their farm, and work out next steps to develop their business.

Strutt & Parker is one of six consultancy providers who will be working with AHDB to deliver the FBR service.

This is a fantastic opportunity for farmers who have not yet taken steps to prepare for the changes that lie ahead. A fresh pair of eyes is invaluable in identifying ways to improve business resilience and help future proof a farming business.
