The Oxfordshire Business Awards Are Back for 2023
Businesses large and small from across Oxfordshire are being encouraged to enter the county’s most prestigious Awards.
Following the launch on Friday 6 January, businesses from across Oxfordshire can now enter the 2023 Awards, with a variety of categories – ranging from Innovation, Marketing Excellence and Charity & Community, as well as a brand new Award for 2023, sponsored by Oxford Brookes Business School, the Purposeful Business Award.
Since the Oxfordshire Business Awards (OXBA) began back in 1994, the OXBA has recognised the achievements of thousands of the county’s businesses, including accolades for new businesses, small businesses and the county’s larger businesses.
Now – over a quarter of a decade on – the OXBA Chairman hopes the OXBA can continue to have a ‘positive impact’ on Oxfordshire’s business community, as well as helping to ‘promote excellence’ across all sectors.
Awards chairman Paul Lowe said:
“Since 1994, the Awards have championed businesses and those individuals who have made a positive impact in Oxfordshire.
“We’re very happy to welcome back some of our sponsors from 2022 and we are also very happy to announce seven new sponsors for 2023. It is always great to bring in new sponsors to the Awards, in order to inject new ideas and even new Award categories.
“Joining the Sponsors for 2023 are, James Cowper Kreston, sponsor of The Business Person of the Year Award and Matthews Comfort, sponsor of The Young Business Person of the Year Award. Also joining is Nicholsons Lockhart Garratt, STL and Oxford Brookes Business School. Sponsors of the Green, Technology Excellence and Purposeful Business Awards respectively.
“Brita Water have very kindly agreed to sponsor the iconic OXBA Trophies for 2023.
“And finally we welcome our 2022 winner of The Business of the Year Award, Thomas Franks who take on the tradition of becoming the sponsor of the Business of the Year Award.
“Winning an OXBA brings genuine recognition and acknowledgement amongst peers – therefore, we would urge businesses to consider entering these prestigious awards.”
The OXBA is also sponsored by the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (OxLEP), NatWest, JACKfm, RWK Goodman, Business & Innovation Magazine, Hartwell, The Oxford Science Park and Hays.
