What will your workplace look like when employees start to return to the office?
People are no longer being asked to work from home now restrictions have been lifted in England.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson recommended a gradual return to work and said employers in England will be able to start planning a safe return to the workplace, as part of the 19 July changes. There is no going back to the pre-pandemic workplace, so, if they haven’t done so already, businesses should begin to take steps to consider what the workplace will look like when their employees are welcomed back into the office.
Furniture for wellbeing
The wellbeing of employees in the workplace is becoming more vital, and office furniture can play a huge part in helping to keep people happy and healthy when they’re working. The most effective and modern office spaces are characterised by division into different zones that support employees as they perform particular tasks. With the use of multi-functional spaces, employees can get back to working together in person with their colleagues and enjoy exchanging ideas once more, while still keeping track of social distancing.
Plan the work “space”
Whatever that looks like, we will work with you and provide furniture solutions to make sure employees feel safe, healthy, and are comfortable in their place of work. Space planning is an essential part of the modern day office and a carefully considered design can tremendously improve the practicality and aesthetics of any space. Contact our sales team today if you want our expert design team to help you make the best use of the limited space available in any working environment.

Why joining a community of business leaders can enhance your reputation and credibility
I read a LinkedIn post recently that reassured business owners that if they’d managed to keep their businesses going during recession, Brexit, COVID and the cost-of-living crisis that they deserved a huge pat on the back and shouldn’t ‘beat themselves up’. Easier said than done when costs are rising and doing business seems to get harder rather than easier, but the sentiment was well-placed.
Why it’s important for Business Leaders to be exposed to new...
Nobody likes a ‘know it all’ and let’s face it, there’s no such thing. At the other end of the scale, many of us don’t create enough time to take on board new ideas, innovation and creativity in whatever format. How many times have you been recommended to read a book, get sent the link, go on Amazon, maybe even buy it but it just sits on your bookshelf? Come to think of it, as an aside, just think about that for a second….I wonder what the actual percentage of books purchased are actually read? Frightening thought!
