Since graduating in African Studies from the University of Birmingham, my career has taken me via a wide range of industries over three continents in companies big and small. As a business development director I have always been responsible for creating new teams or departments whilst setting up new business units, often as the only person responsible for human resources in the company. I have worked in educational publishing and cybersecurity amongst other things.As school development manager I would like to connect with businesses and organisations in the area to create partnerships which benefit our students and businesses.
