Oxfordshire accountancy firm extends business investment competition
New business owners, and forward-thinking entrepreneurs, are being given the chance to receive a £10,000 business support package as part of an Oxfordshire accountancy firm’s commitment to helping grow the next generation of business leaders.
Managed by Modus Accountants, Modus Ignite is a new support programme tailored to giving start-up businesses formed in the last 12 months, and people with business ideas, the opportunity to get a range of expert support and investment.
Open to anyone across Oxfordshire, and the surrounding counties, entries are being sought from passionate individuals with a good idea that can grow into a profitable business.
Director of Modus Accountants, Mark Spolander, said: “At Modus we love working with business owners and helping them achieve their goals and hit their targets. This year we’re taking this to the next level and running our first business start-up investment competition.
“Modus Ignite is here to help new businesses through this challenging period, as well as people who are looking to set-up a business, but who are not quite sure where to start.”
In January one lucky business owner will be chosen by the Modus team to win a support package worth over £10,000 which includes; a £1,000 cash investment, expert one-to-one business coaching, a premium accountancy package, as well as access to the Modus partner network and various opportunities to raise the company profile.
All entrants will also be given the opportunity to participate in a series of six free support workshops at the Modus office next year.
Mark added: “You don’t need to be the next Mark Zuckerberg. It could be you’ve got the next amazing recipe for donuts, or you’re looking to open the next fantastic barber shop. All we’re looking for is someone with energy, drive and passion to make it work but maybe not quite sure about the next step or where to get started.
“No matter what your idea, we hope everyone will take advantage of this opportunity to receive a terrific package of support.”
To enter Modus Ignite, entrants are required to complete a short online application form. The deadline for entries has been extended until 31st December with the winner being revealed in January. To enter and to find out more visit: modus-accountants.co.uk/ignite or call 01993 225 030.
