Superb B4 Platinum Dinner at Said Business School
On 22nd March B4 Members and Guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of fine dining in the impressive Thatcher Business Education Centre (TBEC), Saïd Business School with an interesting talk from our Guest Speaker, Nadine Hatten of Nielsen.
Nadine has spent the majority of her career working for Nielsen and has been part of the UK and Ireland Executive team for the past 10 years. She has led a number of different functions including Sales, Analytics and New Business Development focused on Nielsen’s manufacturer clients. For the past 4 years Nadine has been Commercial Director for Retailers, leading a team who are responsible for our UK and Ireland retailer relationships covering both data procurement and Insight and solution delivery.
Verity Donovan, Conference Business Development Coordinator of Saïd Business School commented: “I was pleased to host B4 and their members last night for the B4 Platinum Dinner. Our Executive Head Chef provided a stunning 3 course menu in reverse order, which both surprised and delighted our guests. Saïd Business School’s Pyramid Dining Room was the perfect setting for business minds to get together and network over exceptional cuisine and world class surroundings. The Oxford Saïd team look forward to welcoming Richard and his guests back very soon.”
B4’s Richard Rosser added: “Thank you to Verity and the team at Saïd Business School for a first class evening. Food and service were excellent and the guests particularly enjoyed the reverse order menu, expertly delivered and explained by Head Chef, Steve Wren, and his team. Thank you also to our guest speaker, Nadine Hatten, Commercial Director at Nielsen. Nadine gave a fascinating insight into the heritage of Nielsen, the effects of moving to new offices and how this is providing a catalyst to embrace the changing dynamics associated with the workforce of today. All in all a hugely successful evening with excellent introductions made and existing relationships built on.”
Nadine Hatten, Retailer Services Director of Nielsen commented: “The Saïd Business School provided the perfect backdrop to meet and network with some of Oxfordshire’s business community and a great opportunity to share Nielsen’s experiences in the workplace around talent management. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!”

Raise’24 Demonstrates the Power of Collaboration and Team Effort
At Keble College on Friday 13th December, one hundred representatives of Oxfordshire’s business and charitable communities came together to celebrate months of incredible fundraising efforts and as they all stood at the threshold of the hugely impressive Great Hall, they had already raised well over £20,000. That total has now soared to £37,500 thanks to the generosity of well over 500 donors and the hard work of 33 fundraisers.
