RoSPA and L’Oréal’s Leading Safely for Women programme, part of their Safe@Work-Safe@Home partnership, which launched earlier this year has had a ‘phenomenal response’, according to Dr Karen McDonnell, RoSPA’s health and safety policy adviser.
As a progressive organisation, we’re always on the lookout for diverse voices and upcoming talent; a diverse team brings different experiences and ideas, providing the opportunity for further learning, collaboration and improvement. But it’s impossible to ignore the limited representation of women and minority voices and glaring gender bias in the development world.
We had our two Be- friending groups over today and ladies I am mentoring to help start their food business from Refugee Resource with all bringing lunch and cake decorating workshop by Daisy Pratt.
To celebrate International Women’s Day we ran two special editions of The Business Brunch as we were joined by a cross-section of inspirational women from the B4 community as they discussed their own personal experiences and challenges within the workplace, both positive and negative.
