B4 Better Business Ecosystem Roundtable hosted at Freeths LLP
Join Grant Hayward of OSEP, and other local businesses at our Better Business Ecosystem Roundtable at Freeths LLP
Topic for discussion
When businesses think about the ways they can contribute to society and local communities, it’s not unusual for them to think about supporting local causes, charities and events. But often this isn’t considered as creatively as it could be, both in terms of the ways in which they can have a more positive impact, and also the benefits that can be brought to the organisations they aim to work with as well as the range of ways to do this.
Freeths, a Platinum B4 member, with impressive accreditation and credentials for the way they operate, including being B Corp certified, are a shining example in the ways they work with local communities and organisations. it’s therefore a fitting venue for this next B4 Better Business Roundtable. Even more fitting is their location, on the doorstep of the forthcoming Cowley Road Carnival, which Chair of the Carnival, Rosie Jacobs, will provide a comprehensive overview of, including the ways in which they have developed creative collaborations with local businesses over the years, as well as the net Carnival.
So, join like-minded people from the B4 Network for this event. We can’t promise fireworks, but we are sure you will find attending worthwhile!
About the Ecosystem
Increasingly, companies recognise that business success is more than just making profit, and the essential ingredients demand that businesses operate in new and evolving ways. It is vital for companies to have positive impacts on society and the environment, as well as the economy. People want to work for, buy from, supply to, and increasingly, invest in, businesses that operate in these ways. But how do business leaders achieve this? This isn’t about philanthropy, “giving back”, or just “doing some nice things” on the side. This is about creative, innovative and evolving business models.
The B4 Better Business Ecosystem is a great opportunity to meet and engage with like-minded local businesses to learn and share, and this roundtable is an ideal face to face forum to explore ways in which companies can, and are, doing “Better Business”.
