We are delighted to invite you to our next Corum Six Lunch, taking place on Thursday 8th October at 12.00pm, kindly hosted by Sobell House Hospice.

Corum Six brings together a small group of senior business leaders in a trusted, confidential setting to discuss shared challenges, exchange ideas and gain fresh perspectives from peers. With just eight participants with CEO, Amelia Foster, the conversation is open, honest and focused, providing valuable insights that can help shape future decisions and leadership.

This lunch also offers a unique opportunity to learn more about the incredible work of Sobell House Hospice, while connecting with fellow leaders over an informal lunch and tour in a welcoming environment.

About Amelia Foster

Amelia has worked as a Charity CEO since 2006, when she became Director of the Roald Dahl Museum in Great Missenden. After a stint there, she became CEO of Oxford University Student Union, and then CEO of SAPERE, the national charity that supports Philosophy for Children (P4C). Amelia joined Sobell House Hospice Charity in 2021.

About Sobell House

Founded in 1976, Sobell House Hospice is the largest palliative and end-of-life care provider in Oxfordshire. Working across OUH (Oxford University Hospitals), in the community and at our inpatient unit at Sobell House on the Churchill hospital site, we provide palliative and end of life care to over 4,000 people with life-limiting illnesses each year. Our aim is to help people live well for as long as they can and, when the time comes, help them have as good a death as possible. The service costs around £9million to run each year.

Sobell House Hospice Charity Limited provides between £3 and £4 million every year to the NHS, which supports day-to-day activity, as well as our home hospice service, our hospital rapid discharge service, the hospital specialist teams, bereavement support, art and music therapies, social workers and benefits advisers, transport, catering and more.
