Champagne, afternoon tea and a warm welcome at one of Oxford’s most iconic hotels marked the launch of B4 Member Privileges, an exciting new addition to B4 membership.
Yesterday, Thursday 22nd October, B4 members were treated to a rather special afternoon as Phil Lewis, General Manager of The Randolph Hotel, hosted the first B4 Member Privileges event, welcoming new and renewing members to experience the hospitality of one of Oxford’s best-loved landmarks.
Accompanied by Assistant Sales Director Victoria Volonté, Phil welcomed guests with a glass of champagne before inviting everyone to enjoy an afternoon tea fit for a king.
There were freshly baked, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, beautifully prepared finger sandwiches and an irresistible selection of cakes and sweet treats. The afternoon tea was skilfully served by Alpha, whose attentive hospitality helped make the occasion such an enjoyable experience.
Pictured alongside Phil, Victoria and the B4 members, Alpha was very much part of the team that made everyone feel so welcome.
Introducing B4 Member Privileges
The afternoon marked the launch of B4 Member Privileges, a new initiative designed to give members even more value from being part of the B4 community.
While B4 has always been about bringing businesses and people together, Member Privileges takes that philosophy a step further, creating opportunities for members to enjoy exclusive experiences, access services and benefit from offers made available by fellow B4 members.
These privileges can take many forms, from memorable hospitality experiences such as afternoon tea at The Randolph to preferential corporate accounts, specialist business services and valuable professional audits.
Among the businesses already contributing to the programme are Royal Cars, offering corporate account opportunities; M&M Waste Solutions, providing business waste management solutions; and Arvra Wellness, offering health and wellbeing audits.
The intention is simple: to encourage B4 members to discover, support and benefit from the expertise, facilities and services available across our growing business community.
It’s another way of making B4 membership more rewarding, creating meaningful connections and demonstrating the value of doing business with fellow members.
The Randolph Hotel: An Oxford Institution
Few venues capture the character and history of Oxford quite like The Randolph Hotel.
Standing proudly on Beaumont Street, opposite the Ashmolean Museum, the five-star hotel has been welcoming guests since 1864 and remains one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.
Now part of the Graduate by Hilton collection, The Randolph combines its historic Victorian architecture with distinctive interiors inspired by Oxford’s academic heritage.
With elegant bedrooms and suites, beautifully appointed meeting and event spaces, The Alice restaurant, the atmospheric Morse Bar and a wellness centre, the hotel offers far more than a place to stay. It is a destination for business meetings, celebrations, entertaining clients and enjoying some of the finest hospitality Oxford has to offer.
Following afternoon tea, guests were invited to join Jamie for a tour of the hotel’s impressive facilities, discovering more of what The Randolph can offer both business and leisure visitors.
For B4 members, it was a wonderful opportunity to experience the hotel first-hand, meet fellow members in relaxed surroundings and explore how The Randolph could support their own business and hospitality requirements.
More Than Membership
The launch of B4 Member Privileges reflects B4’s continuing commitment to creating genuine value for its members.
As the B4 community continues to grow, so too do the opportunities for members to collaborate, share expertise and open doors for one another.
Whether it’s an invitation to experience one of Oxfordshire’s outstanding venues, access to a useful business service or an introduction that leads to a new relationship, Member Privileges is about making membership work harder for everyone.
A huge thank you to Phil Lewis, Victoria Volonté, Alpha, Jamie and the entire Randolph team for such generous hospitality and for helping us launch B4 Member Privileges in style.
