Christmas at Blenheim Palace returns from 13th November 2026 to 3rd January 2027, bringing groups an immersive festive experience with more than a million lights, spectacular new installations and the return of much-loved Christmas favourites.
This year’s Illuminated Trail will feature some of the largest installations to date, including a 10-metre Butterfly Tree, 10 illuminated hot air balloons, the new 35-metre Choir 360, an immersive Christmas Disco and a brand-new Christmas Snow Globe.

The Christmas Disco will invite groups to stop, dance and celebrate together within a 28-metre illuminated installation, complete with suspended mirror balls, light effects, projected graphics and a seasonal soundtrack. Meanwhile, Choir 360 will place visitors at the centre of a 35-metre-wide ring of festive music and light in the Rose Garden.
Groups can also experience Fire and Ice, a new synchronised light and special effects show featuring fiery orange and icy blue light, before discovering returning favourites including the giant illuminated peonies, water fountain show and illuminated tunnel.

Alongside the outdoor trail, visitors can enjoy the Great Skate and Christmas Market, while the Palace itself will be transformed for Cinderella Inside The Palace by BAFTA award-winning designers Culture Creative.
With timed entry and limited capacity, early booking is recommended for groups looking to visit during the festive season.
Groups of 15+ can enjoy special Christmas pricing across the Palace and Light Trail. Adult group rates for the Light Trail are £26.10 (standard), £31.50 (peak), and £21.60 (off-peak). Palace entry is £37.90 as standard and £29.70 on selected special offer dates between 16th November and 3rd January. Child group rates are £21 (standard), £24 (peak) and £18 (off-peak) for the Light Trail, with Palace entry at £22.60 standard and £17.80 on special offer dates.

All visitors, including drivers and group leaders must hold a valid ticket to enter the Palace and/or Light Trail. Coach parking is charged at £20 per coach and car parking at £10 per car.
Groups can also enhance their visit with private catering in a dedicated function room, choosing from a festive afternoon tea or a two or three-course Christmas lunch.
