6th Nov 2026
Oxfordshire mental health and housing charity Response is celebrating an impressive fundraising achievement, launching new mental health resources and inviting the community to support its work through a series of festive activities.

In its latest supporter newsletter, B4 Platinum member and RAISE charity partner Response highlights the generosity of its supporters, the dedication of its volunteers and the many ways individuals and businesses can help make a difference across Oxfordshire.

Oxford Half Marathon Raises Over £18,000

Response has thanked its team of Oxford Half Marathon runners, who raised more than £18,000 to support the charity’s mental health services and supported housing provision.

With approximately 15,000 runners participating in the event, Response’s fundraisers made an important contribution to helping people across the county. The charity also thanked its volunteers and the event organisers, while encouraging supporters to consider joining its team for the Oxford Half Marathon on 10 October 2027.

New Mental Health Resources Available

Response has launched a collection of online resources designed to improve understanding of mental health and neurodiversity. The guides provide information and practical support for individuals, young people and anyone seeking to better understand different mental health conditions.

The resources are available through the Response website.

Supporting the RAISE Christmas Carol Service

Response is also encouraging supporters to attend the RAISE Christmas Carol Service at Keble College Chapel on Thursday 10 December, from 6.30pm to 8pm.

Organised by B4, the evening will bring together music, community and charitable giving, featuring Oxford’s Out of the Blue alongside special guests. The event will support 15 Oxfordshire charities, including Response, with eligible donations benefiting from a generous matched-funding commitment.
