B4 is delighted to welcome Thames Valley Air Ambulance to the community, strengthening connections between one of the region’s most vital charities and businesses across Oxfordshire and the wider Thames Valley.
Nadia Cheddi heads up corporate partnerships at Thames Valley Air Ambulance, working with businesses across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire to develop impactful and rewarding partnerships.
With a strong focus on relationship building and stewardship, Nadia enjoys helping organisations engage their employees through lunch and learn sessions, CPR awareness training, team-building activities and visits to Thames Valley Air Ambulance HQ.
Her goal is to ensure every partner feels valued, connected to the charity’s work and inspired by the difference their support makes to local communities.
A vital service for the Thames Valley
Thames Valley Air Ambulance exists to give everybody in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire the best chance of surviving and recovering from an emergency.
Its crews bring advanced critical care directly to patients when every second counts. The charity receives no regular NHS or government funding, meaning every mission is made possible by the generosity and support of local people and businesses.
For organisations looking to make a meaningful difference close to home, Thames Valley Air Ambulance is keen to explore partnerships that can help keep this vital service available for communities throughout the Thames Valley.
Why Thames Valley Air Ambulance joined B4
Nadia explains:
“As a charity serving communities across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire, we know that any one of us could need the support of Thames Valley Air Ambulance one day, whether directly or through a family member, friend or colleague.
“Joining B4 gives us a fantastic opportunity to connect with businesses across the Thames Valley, raise awareness of our service and build meaningful partnerships that help ensure we’re there for the people who need us most.”
B4 CEO Richard Rosser added:
“We’re delighted to welcome Thames Valley Air Ambulance to the B4 community. It’s an organisation that provides an extraordinary service across Oxfordshire and the wider Thames Valley, and one that any of us, our families, friends or colleagues could need at any time.
“What particularly excites me about having Nadia and the team involved in B4 is the opportunity to connect them with businesses in a meaningful way. From CPR awareness and training to employee engagement and corporate partnerships, there are so many ways our members can get involved while helping support a genuinely vital local service.
“A very warm welcome to Nadia and everyone at Thames Valley Air Ambulance. I’m looking forward to seeing the relationships that develop through B4.”
Could you save a life?
Thames Valley Air Ambulance is also helping to raise awareness of the importance of CPR.
Only around one in ten people survive an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. Early CPR can double a person’s chances of survival, yet women who experience a cardiac arrest in public are 14% less likely to receive CPR from a bystander than men.
Around a third of people in the community also say they would not feel confident performing CPR if they witnessed a cardiac arrest.
By raising awareness and building confidence in CPR, Thames Valley Air Ambulance hopes more people will feel able to take action during those critical first moments — whether at home, in the workplace or out in the community — ultimately giving patients a better chance of survival.
