Why We Have Launched the B4 Daily
For nearly 20 years, B4 has brought together business leaders, decision-makers and experts from across Oxfordshire and beyond. Through our events, publications, introductions and partnerships, we have built a remarkable community of people with knowledge, experience and insight to share.
Over those two decades, I have met thousands of business leaders. Every one of them has a story, lessons learned and expertise that could help others. Yet so much of that knowledge is shared only in conversations at events, meetings, boardrooms and coffee tables.
The B4 Daily is our way of changing that.
Every day, we will publish an article from one of our members, partners or contributors, creating a growing well of business insight that reflects the depth and breadth of expertise within the B4 community.
This is more than a content initiative. It is about trust.
We are living through an extraordinary period of change. Artificial intelligence is transforming the way information is created, shared and consumed. Content can now be generated in seconds and published at scale.
Marnie Wills, B4’s AI contributor and expert, calls this a growing “Truth Recession”: a world in which it is becoming harder to distinguish genuine expertise from automated content, informed opinion from speculation, and trusted sources from those simply seeking attention.
“AI can generate a thousand articles overnight. But it cannot sit in a room with your client and understand what they actually need. It cannot read the room. It cannot draw on twenty years of getting it wrong before getting it right. That is domain expertise, and right now it is more valuable than ever.”
Marnie Wills, AI Strategist and founder of Business With AI Strategist
In this environment, the issue is no longer access to information. We have more information than ever before. The challenge is knowing what, and who, to trust.
That is where the B4 Daily has an important role to play.
Every article will come from a real person with real experience: a business leader, entrepreneur, specialist or professional who is visible, accountable and connected to our community.
AI can generate information, but it cannot replicate lived experience, professional judgement or trusted relationships. In fact, as AI becomes more capable, genuine human expertise becomes even more valuable.
Over time, the B4 Daily will become a permanent, searchable knowledge resource for our members and wider business audience. Unlike a social media post that disappears within hours, each article adds to a growing archive of insight covering leadership, finance, technology, people, marketing, sustainability, wellbeing and more.
For contributors, it is an opportunity to demonstrate expertise and build credibility. For readers, it provides practical guidance from people they can trust.
B4 has always been about helping people build meaningful business relationships. The B4 Daily extends that mission into the digital world.
Not simply to publish articles, but to create a trusted home for business insight, powered by the collective expertise of the B4 community.
