Experienced business coach Alison Haill is inviting women business owners to step away from the day-to-day, reconnect with their strengths and build the clarity and momentum to make Q4 count.
With the final quarter of 2026 approaching, Oxford-based business coach and facilitator Alison Haill of Oxford Professional Consulting is bringing together a small group of experienced women business owners for Your Q4 Launch Pad on Saturday 3 October.
Designed specifically for women running their own businesses, the day offers an opportunity to step away from the constant demands of business ownership and concentrate on the decisions, priorities and actions that could make the biggest difference during the final three months of the year.
Alison describes the programme as an opportunity to “launch Q4 powerfully”, reconnect with individual strengths and make the decisions needed for a strong finish to 2026.
The power of thinking together
Having run her own business for almost three decades, Alison believes strongly in the value of bringing experienced women together.
“Nearly three decades of running my own business has shown me that as professional women we achieve more in a small group of like-minded, intelligent, experienced individuals than we do alone. And when it’s led and designed well, you’re onto a winner.”
That thinking sits at the heart of Your Q4 Launch Pad.
Running a business can be rewarding, but it can also be isolating. With every significant decision ultimately resting with the business owner, finding the space to think clearly, challenge assumptions and regain perspective can be difficult.
Alison has therefore deliberately limited the retreat to just nine women, creating an intimate environment in which participants can reflect, exchange ideas and benefit from the experience of others.
Reconnect, decide and move
The day will be structured but responsive, combining whole-group discussion with individual reflection, pairs and small-group work.
The morning, Reconnect and Reveal, is designed to help participants step back from the noise, reconnect with their strengths and identify patterns or blind spots which may be affecting their momentum.
The afternoon, Decide and Move, turns that reflection into action: clarifying priorities, generating fresh ideas, tackling postponed decisions and shaping a focused Q4 plan.
Participants should leave with three things at the forefront: clarity about where to focus their time and resources; decisions made on issues they may have been postponing; and renewed momentum to act on a strong Q4 plan.
More than a single day
Your Q4 Launch Pad isn’t simply a one-day workshop.
Each participant receives a one-to-one coaching call with Alison beforehand, followed by the full retreat in Oxford and a follow-up Zoom session four weeks later. The Oxford day itself includes reflection, planning, creative interaction and Hot Seat sessions, together with lunch and refreshments.
The retreat takes place at voco Oxford Spires, a riverside setting which Alison has deliberately chosen to provide both a change of environment and the opportunity for some headspace away from everyday business pressures.
For Alison, the objective isn’t simply to produce another action plan. It is to help experienced businesswomen rediscover what they are capable of at their best, combine that with the perspective and challenge of their peers, and turn it into meaningful action.
As one previous participant put it:
“I wanted to have time to think deeply about the business, what I want to achieve and create, to come away with a roadmap. And I did.”
